System PulseMeter Action Properties
Action Properties
Dialog
To open "Action Properties" dialog select "Tools"->"Manage
Actions" in the main menu. "Manage Actions" dialog will be displayed. In the
"Manage Actions" dialog add a new action or select an action from the list on
the right and click "Edit" button.
You can use default common action properties in the "Action properties"
dialog.
Common Action Properties
- "Action name" property - this field contains default action name. You
can modify it by inputting a new value.
- "Perform by" property - select whether action should be performed by the
core or by one of the registered System PulseMeter agents.
- "Perform this action when" - set whether the action should be activated
when test passes or fails. To activate action when test results change
(for example, from passing to failing) check both values.
- "Number of result recurrences before start" - set how many times test
should return the same result before performing the action. For example,
action can be performed after 5 test fails.
- "Repeat" property - select "Until result changes" if you want the action
to be performed until test
returns a different result. For example, you can set the action to be
performed every time the test fails until it passes.
- "Number of times"
action - select this option and modify it's value to perform the action
certain number of times. For example, you can set the action to be performed 3 times, instead of been repeated all the time until test fails.
