System PulseMeter File Integrity Test

Check File Integrity

Use the File Integrity test for monitoring file checksum (CRC64). The test checks the file checksum and compares it to a certain value. Test passes if they values are equal, fails otherwise. Various actions and notifications will help administrator always stay aware about file integrity failures.

File Integrity Test Properties

"Basic" File Integrity test properties can be set in the "Test Properties" dialog.

Specific File Integrity test properties include:

• "File name" - input the name of the monitored file into this field. You can also select the file from the dialog.
• "Update checksum when file content changes" - check this option to automatically update and change the checksum value for modified files.
• "Checksum (CRC64)" -  the checksum value.
• "Calculate Checksum" - click the "Calculate Checksum" button to automatically calculate the current checksum value.
