Managing Agents in System PulseMeter

The "Manage Agents" dialog contains the list of currently registered agents.

Using this dialog you can manage the agents list by using searching, registering, updating and configuring options.

Searching for Agents

To search for new agents automatically click the "Search for installed agents" button. "Input" dialog will be displayed. Agents will be searched on all available hosts on selected ports range.

Agents Registration

To add an agent manually, registering it in the system, click "Register" button. The "Agent Options" dialog will be displayed. To unregister selected agent or click "Unregister" button.

Agents Configuration

To adjust agent settings, select an agent from the list and click the "Configure" button. In the displayed "Agent Options" dialog you can set agent name, host, port, timeout and password. To change the password, set the " Change Password" option to selected.

Agents Polling

Click the "Poll" or "Poll all" buttons to poll agents. Poll results are displayed in the dialog and in the main window system log.

Manual Agents Updating

To manually activate the update of an agent version click the "Update" button. Agents can be updated automatically by the system. To enable automatic agents update after an update is detected, check the "Automatically deploy updated agents" option in the "Edit System Policies" dialog.
