SNMP Profiles Dialog

SNMP Profiles

Use "SNMP Profiles" dialog for managing SNMP profiles settings. Setup SNMP profiles to use them while creating SNMP tests and using MIB Browser.

To add a new profile click the "Add" button and input settings for new profile.

General Settings:

• "Profile name" - input the name of the profile.
• "SNMP Version" - input the version of SNMP. It can be:
• "SNMP ver. 1"
• "SNMP ver. c2"
• "SNMP ver. 3"

Selecting "SNMP ver. 3" will require filling additional fields.

• "Community" - the SNMP "Community" setting defines relations between SNMP server and client systems and is used as a password for controlling client systems access to SNMP server. The default value for "SNMP ver. 1" and "SNMP ver. c2" is "public".
   

Additional Settings for "SNMP ver. 3":

Set the authorization protocol algorithm and authorization settings:

• "Authorization" - select the type of authorization protocol. Available values: MD5 or SHA protocols.
• "User Name" - set the user name for SNMP authorization.
• "Password" - set the password for SNMP authorization.
