System PulseMeter Test Properties
"Basics" Test Properties
"Basics" test properties are common for all
test types.
"Basics" settings are common for all tests. These settings include: "Test
name", "Action Profile", "Scheduling Profile", and "Perform by" options.
- "Test name" - This field contains default test name. You can input a new
test name, or choose not to edit this option. Use "V" and "D" buttons to
manage tests names: click "V" to add a variable
to test name or "D" to set default test name. For different test types there
are different variables available.
- "Action Profile" - For each test you can set an action that will be
activated in case if the test fails, passes, or changes it state. To find
out more about actions view "System PulseMeter Actions".
- "Scheduling Profile" - To set schedule for the test, select one of
available schedule profiles. The "Default Preset" is selected by default for
all new tests. To find out more about schedule setting, view
"System PulseMeter Schedule".
- "Perform by" - You can choose whether the test should be performed by
the core or by one of "System Pulse Meter" agents.
"Dependencies" Test Properties
To activate a test only in case if other tests return a certain result (for
example, succeed), you can form a list of tests dependencies. Now before
starting the target test, System PulseMeter will check results of all tests in the list, and
start the test if all conditions were fulfilled.
You can modify the list of tests with the help of "add", "delete", "move up"
and "move down" buttons.
