    Tests Basics

All system and network monitoring is performed with the help of tests. For each test you can set it's own schedule and actions.

To add a new test click the corresponding button in the main menu. The "New Test" dialog will be displayed. The dialog contains all available test grouped by test types. Each type has a short description displayed in the "Description" field. Select the test type and click "OK" to continue. The "Test properties" dialog will be displayed.

To create identical tests for several different hosts use "Duplicating Tests".
