    System PulseMeter Windows Services Test


    Controlling Windows Services

    One of the most important network monitoring tasks is controlling services running on remote hosts and servers. Now with the help of this test system administrator will always be notified in case if services are not functioning. Use the "Windows Service" test for controlling your critical windows system services on your servers and remote hosts.

    Setup the "Restart Service" action and the tool will not only notify you, but restart the service, or even perform a sequence of restarts and other actions in case if some services depend on others.

    Windows Services Test Properties

    "Basic" Windows Services test properties can be set in the "Test Properties" dialog.

    Specific Windows Services test properties include:

    • "Service name" - input the monitored service name or select it from the list.
    • "Get service list" button - click "Get service list" to get available windows services list from selected remote host. Note: The system can only obtain the list of currently started services.
